Register Today for Edmonton Catholic Schools

Current ECSD Families NEED to use the PowerSchool Parent Portal to fill out Applications for any NEW students for the upcoming school year.


Current ECSD students will register for the upcoming school year through the pre-enrolment process. If you are an ECSD family registering a new student in our Division, please follow the steps below:

Use your current PowerSchool Parent Portal account to access SchoolEngage. Visit powerschool.ecsd.net 

  1. Log onto the PowerSchool Parent Portal using your existing account, and then click on the School Engage Icon. 
  2. Once logged in to SchoolEngage, proceed with the steps below. 
  3. Add your student to your SchoolEngage account. You will find the link on the left-hand side. Start there to enter your student’s first and last name and their date of birth and click save. This will add your student to your list of students in SchoolEngage. 
  4. Select your student (the one that needs the application) from the student list on the left-hand menu. Once you have a student selected, you will see on the right-hand side of the screen the list of available applications. 
  5. Select the proper form from the list of new student applications. You will need to choose the form based on when your student is starting school. Select either the current year or the upcoming year.
  6. Once the form is open, read the instructions and continue through the form making sure to answer all required fields. If a field is not completed, it will be marked red.
  7. After you have completed and signed the form, click submit. It will not let you submit, if there is missing information.)
  8. You will receive a confirmation message and email once the form is completed. To register additional children, start again at step 1 for each student. 

Note : If you already have a Parent Portal account please do not create a New Account.
