Are you new to Canada and interested in learning more about Edmonton Catholic Schools?

Join us for a newcomer family information evening on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre (9405 50 Street). The Newcomer Info Night is hosted by One World…One Centre.

You will receive information about:

Intercultural Services
Community Partnerships
School Procedures
PowerSchool
Busing
Resources for English as an Additional Language Learner

Meet community partners and attend breakout sessions available in 9 languages:

Amharic
Chinese
English
Filipino/Tagalog
Russian
Spanish
Tigrinya
Ukrainian
Vietnamese

Stay for some light refreshments and snacks following the breakout sessions.

Childcare
Childcare will be available on-site in the One World…One Centre office on the main floor of Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Parking at Lumen Christi Catholic Education Centre
Please use the main parking lot east and south of Lumen Christi, as well as parking along the street.

Entrance
Please use the west entrance (front doors facing 50th Street). The event will be held in Leadership Hall (second floor, west side of the building).
